| 31/08/2009 | Hampshire Pageant of Motoring | This year the Hampshire Pageant of Motoring, at Broadlands near Romsey, will be held on Sunday 30th August and Monday 31st August. Derek Bugler has kindly offered to organise this event for the Dorset region. Derek is going to request a stand for 12 cars on each day and will contact previous attendees to see if they want to take part this year. If there is anyone else who would like to show their car on the stand please contact Derek. You can find further details on the club forum here . |

| 13/06/2009 | Le Mans 24 Hour, 13/14 June 2009 | 1987 was the first time the TVR Car Club Dorset Region visited the greatest sportscar race in the world, the Le Mans 24 hour, and it has now become a tradition. Over the years we have worked out the best way of doing things, and I like to think that everybody who has attended over the years has enjoyed themselves. I know we are just over Christmas and the New Year, and holidays seem along way away, but the tickets will soon be advertised in Sprint, and it's first come first served so if we wish to have the best campsites now is the time to start planning. | 31/05/2009 | TVRs at Beaulieu | TVRs at Beaulieu TVRCC Bristol Region invite you to join them at the world famous National Motor Museum on the Beaulieu estate. TVRCC members attending will receive a discounted entry fee and allocated parking within the Beaulieu estate along the ‘Chestnut Avenue’ and on ‘Bank Field’. This event will offer a fantastic day out for all the family and a chance to meet other likeminded TVR enthusiasts. Remember: You must purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets are purchased per person, NOT per car and are £12.50 (Adult) or £6.00 (Child 5-17, under 5s free), offering a great saving on gate prices. | 19/04/2009 | TVRCC Speed Championship at Gurston Down | Do you want to see TVRs in action? Then come along to Gurston Down near Salisbury (location) and support the drivers in another round of the TVRCC Speed Championship. At Gurston you can watch the track action, wander through the paddocks and see the cars, or buy refreshments in the cafe. Admission is £10 per person. Practice starts about 08:30 and timed runs about 13:00. | |||

It is proposed that we arrive in time for Sunday Lunch at 'The Spread Eagle' pub, I will book a table for 10 people which I hope will be enough. If you would like lunch please post on the forum thread as soon as possible so that I can adjust the booking accordingly. After lunch we'll have a wander around the gardens, hopefully there will be some autumn colours to admire, and then make our own way home. |
